About Us
The Forest City Water Treatment facility tests for over 100 contaminants to ensure your water safety. We're pleased to report that for calendar year 2017, water delivered to homes and businesses met all State and Federal requirements. The following regulated contaminants were detected in our finished water when analyzed between January 1st and December 31st, 2017, unless otherwise noted.
The EPA has determined these levels are safe for consumption. Many contaminants were tested for but not detected. Finished water refers to treated water distributed throughout our system. This annual report aims to inform you about the high-quality water we provide daily. Our constant goal is delivering safe, reliable water while continuously improving our treatment process and protecting our water resources.
We welcome customers interested in learning more about our water treatment process. Tours can be scheduled, and questions about water quality can be answered by calling our Treatment Plant staff at 248-5215. For billing inquiries, please contact Customer Services at 245-0148.
Want to learn how decisions about Town facilities are made? Citizens are welcome to attend City Council meetings on the first and third Monday monthly at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall at 128 North Powell Street.
