Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) are established with strict safety margins. To understand potential health effects for regulated substances, a person would need to consume 2 liters of water daily at MCL concentration levels for a lifetime to have a one-in-a-million chance of experiencing the described health effect.

Certain individuals may have increased vulnerability to water contaminants compared to the general population. This includes people undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplant recipients, individuals with HIV/AIDS or other immune disorders, elderly residents, and infants. These groups should consult healthcare providers about their municipal water consumption.

For guidelines on reducing infection risks from cryptosporidium and other microbiological contaminants, contact the Safe Drinking Water Hotline (800-426-4791).

Draper City Water System Municipal Water Report Info

The Clinton City Fire Department was established in 1975 with twelve dedicated volunteers under Fire Chief Lloyd Brown's leadership. The department initially acquired two vintage fire engines (a 1944 Seagraves and a 1943 Chevrolet) from the Utah Forestry Service.

Today, 40 years later, the Clinton City Fire Department operates 24/7 with a team of 28 Firefighters (18 Part-time and 11 Full Time). The station houses several vehicles including a Class A Pumper Engine (Smeal 1997), a "Quint" Ladder Truck (Smeal 2007), a Brush Truck (Ford 1997), a Special/Technical Response Trailer, and 3 Advanced Life Support Ambulances.

The station maintains round-the-clock staffing with a minimum of 4 personnel, supplemented by on-call paid staff as needed. The department prioritizes training and education programs to ensure personnel maintain the highest skill levels.

Beyond responding to over 1,000 emergency calls annually, the department actively engages with the community through local events, health fairs, school visits promoting fire safety, and fundraising for organizations like the Muscular Dystrophy Association. They're currently developing a city-wide CERT program in conjunction with the Citizen Corps Program.
