New Jersey Water Utility Companies

We're pleased to present this year's Annual Municipal Water Quality Report. This document outlines the quality water and services we deliver to your home daily. Our primary goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable water supply.

We want you to understand our ongoing efforts to improve water treatment processes and protect our valuable water resources. We are committed to ensuring the quality of your water meets all standards.

Our water comes from five wells that draw groundwater from the Cohansey, Mt. Laurel-Wenonah, and Potomac-Raritan-Magothy (PRM) Aquifers. These wells range from 80 to 670 feet in depth. Additionally, we purchase water from New Jersey American Water, which sources from the Delaware River in Delran and wells in Burlington and Camden Counties.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) has completed Source Water Assessment Reports for our public water systems. These are available at www.State.Nj.Us/dep/swap/ or by contacting NJDEP's Bureau of Safe Drinking Water at 609-292-5550.

Some individuals may be more vulnerable to water contaminants than the general population. Those with compromised immune systems—such as cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplant recipients, people with HIV/AIDS, some elderly individuals, and infants—may be particularly at risk. These individuals should seek advice about drinking water from their healthcare providers. EPA/CDC guidelines on reducing Cryptosporidium and other microbiological contamination risks are available from the Safe Drinking Water Hotline (800-426-4791).

The EPA requires monitoring for over 80 water contaminants. The tables in our full report show only the contaminants detected in your water. Both Pine Hill Borough MUA and New Jersey American Water Company regularly monitor for contaminants according to Federal and State regulations. The displayed results cover January 1st to December 31st, 2016. For some contaminants, we're permitted to monitor less frequently as concentrations rarely change. Some data, while representative, may be more than one year old.
