- Final Meter Readings – Legal professional requests final reading before closing. At least 24 hours notice required for appointment scheduling. The utility will certify reading and provide consumption data to the property owner. A $45.00 fee applies for this special reading. Contact NWJWW at (914) 737-7676 to schedule.
- Trench Inspections – Upon request, inspectors verify trench depth, tubing type, check for leaks, and contractors must provide as-built measurements and installation photos. The utility takes measurements for records kept at the Water Department office. At least 24 hours notice required. Contact CCWD at (914) 734-1026.
- New Meter Installation – Available for new construction after trench inspection completion and payment of fees. Meters installed in heated areas for properties less than 100' from street. Homeowners must install meter pits if houses exceed 100' from street. Contact Northern Westchester Joint Water Works at (914) 737-7676.
- Water Service Applications – Tap applications require verification of lot ownership and water availability before installation. $375.00 tapping fee required prior to work. Licensed plumbers must perform taps with at least 24 hours notice. Available Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-3:30PM only.
- Meter Testing – Residents may request meter tests for suspected issues. Tests performed at high flow (30 GPM), medium flow (10 GPM), and slow flow (5 GPM). Allowable variance is ±2%. $50.00 fee applies if meter tests functional, with bill adjustments made accordingly.
