- Yes, your Extended Sick Leave balance is considered "unused accumulated sick leave" at retirement
- This balance provides retirement credit when calculating monthly TCRS benefits
- Is Extended Sick Leave paid out upon termination?
- No, unlike PTO, Extended Sick Leave is not paid out when employment ends
